Neymar scored two stunning free-kicks as the Brazilian netted a hat-trick in PSG’s thrashing of Red Star Belgrade in Paris.

The hosts outclassed Red Star throughout the encounter and opened the scoring on 20 minutes, via a fabulous Neymar free-kick.

Just two minutes later, the Ligue 1 champions doubled their advantage with Neymar again finding the back of the net, this time after neat interplay with Kylian Mbappe.

A rampant PSG would add two more before the break, with Edinson Cavani’s effort deflecting pastĀ Milan Borjan in the Belgrade goal.

Angel Di Maria’s deft touch after a glorious outside-of-the-foot assist from Thomas Meunier then made it 4-0 before half-time.

The visitors improved after the break, and it took until the 70th minute for PSG to score again, this time courtesy of Mbappe, who finished off a superb moveĀ involving Neymar and Juan Bernat.

Belgrade did bag themselves a consolation goal on 74 minutes, courtesy of ex-Chelsea attacker Marko Marin.

The hosts would make it 6-1 before the end, with the outstanding Neymar netting another magnificent long-range free-kick.

The Parisians were well worth the 6-1 victory which sees them pick up their first points of this season’s Champions League campaign following their match day one defeat at the hands of Liverpool.
