Thomas Müller has become the 35th member of the illustrious band of players who have made 100 or more appearances in the UEFA Champions League.

The 29-year-old forward completed his century when introduced as an 88th-minute substitute during Bayern München's 2-0 Group E win at Benfica on matchday one of the new, 2018/19 campaign. All of Müller's appearances have been in Bayern colours.

Iker Casillas leads the list of centurion players – which recognises overall appearances in the competition from group stage to final – ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, with both men having featured in the week's action, for Porto and Juventus.
