Atlético Madrid (ESP)

Having beaten Arsenal on penalties and lost to a last-minute Paris goal in Singapore, Atlético have a trip to Cagliari before hosting Inter in the last of their three International Champions Cup games following the two in Asia. Four days later they are off to Tallinn to face Real Madrid for the UEFA Super Cup five days before opening the Liga at Valencia.

Back-to-back wins against Manchester City and Jürgen Klopp's Liverpool were highlights of a successful International Champions Cup campaign. Dortmund's domestic season starts with a 20 August German Cup trip to Greuther Fürth before hosting RB Leipzig six days later in the Bundesliga.
